My New Job

My new job at The BNW Bistro

I’ve got a new job!  I’m going to be a Barista! Pretty exciting isn’t it? No, I’m not serving coffee at one of those fancy-schmanzy over-priced coffee places. Instead, I’ll be serving up great BNW architectural photos starting the week of February 24th at The BNW Bistro on Vero.

The BNW Bistro, The Espresso of BNW Photography, was founded by Dave Payne as a way to grow and support the community of BNW photographers. As Dave recently described it:

“I created The BNW Bistro to become a space where BNW photographers and those who are curious about BNW photography could experience more than what may be available at the usual hubs.

We are a Creative Resource Center (CRC) specifically designed to educate motivate and inspire. We do that by helping existing BNW photographers who want to learn from and interact with other BNW photographers.

Second, by creating a supportive and safe environment for BNW enthusiasts and those who think they might like to try BNW photography here. They can come learn some of the basics from existing BNW photographers and take their first steps toward creating their own BNW interpretations of the world they see every day.

Also, by providing a place to share their own BNW photos to be considered for comments or possible selection as a featured photo done by a group of established credible and knowledgeable BNW photographers.

You can enjoy our video content on the Vero true social app and on our YouTube channel where you can watch all of our videos with subtitles in your own language.”

In my new job as a Barista, I’ll be selecting architectural photos to be featured using the hashtag #BistroBuildings. So, here’s what #BistroBuildings is about:

Photos of individual* architectural structures (e.g. buildings, bridges…) including:

  • View of the entire building/structure
  • Close in shots of portions of the interior/exterior
  • View of architectural details
  • Architectural abstracts
  • Architectural reflections

* Other buildings/structures in the background are permissible as long as they are not a significant part of the photo. Photos featuring multiple building/structures should be tagged #BistroScapes.

The BNW Bistro features our follower’s BNW Photography SOLELY Based Upon:

  • Photographic Merit (Quality)
  • Compliance With Our Hashtag Themes
  • Photos Are Your Own Work
  • No AI

The BNW Bistro welcomes and respects our followers without any:

  • Geographic Bias
  • Photography Brand Bias
  • Type Of Gear Used Bias
  • Photography Genre Or Format Bias
