Congratulations! You found the hidden Easter egg. It’s the secret link to my old business management and IT blog — Beyond Blinking Lights & Acronyms (“BBL&A”).
Those of you that know me may recall I used to blog regularly on management and IT issues from 2006 until 2012. It was reasonably well received and it even got picked up by Forbes.com and they made me a featured commentator (which is a fancy title meaning you don’t get paid). However, as I got closer to retirement the ever-present deadlines (mainly self-imposed) and routine grew bothersome so I eventually stopped.
Given the effort I put into I don’t want to just delete it so it’s still out there. I’ve downgraded to the free version of the blogging platform to archive the content recognizing that site functionality would be lost. I no longer maintain it. Some of the postings are rather dated as technology and other things change. However, most of the non-technology posts still ring true.
I’m putting up this page basically as a placeholder for archiving purposes but if you are interested you’re welcome to take a look. Just be aware of the following:
- The blog is not maintained
- With the downgrade to the free platform some of the functionality no longer works. Also some functionality (e.g. menus) were lost with the downgrade. I have no intention of fixing these items.
- Some of the links may no longer work (gone “404”) and I have no intention of fixing them.
- Don’t bother trying to comment on any post since commenting is closed. If you feel a really strong need to provide feedback just comment me via the Contact page on this site.
- As with this site, all content provided on the BBL&A blog is for informational purposes only. Okay, so if you’ve made it this far and still want to go there the as they say in the data centers “Hit the Big Red Button”
