December, 2023 – Curved Design #2 has been Awarded on 1x.com, a curated photography site. Awarded status is 1x’s highest level of recognition. Less than 1% of all photographers uploading to 1x are selected for this award. For more information see my blog post about this image.
November, 2023 – Estonian Evangelical Martin Luther Church won 1st place in the Architecture – B&W category of the 2023 Annual Contest of The Woodlands Photography Club.
November, 2023 – Striped Reflection At 601 Jefferson won 1st place in the Open (any subject) category of the 2023 Annual Contest of The Woodlands Photography Club.
July, 2023 – I had the privilege of being a judge for the Photographic Society of America’s 2022-2023 PICTORIAL IMAGE DIVISION (PID) INDIVIDUAL CREATIVE COMPETITION. It was a great experience and there was an amazing array of “altered reality” image from which to choose. It was not an easy selection. May, 2023 – Brava tied for 1st Place – Architecture – Class B in the Multi-Club competition between Stony Brook Camera Club (my club), Boston Camera Club, Gateway Camera Club, and Newton Camera Club.
November, 2022 – My blog article “Character Matters” that was reprinted (with permission) in the Stony Brook Camera Club’s Reflections Newsletter was selected as Best Opinion Article in the 2022 Photographic Society of America Camera Club Newsletter Competition (Large Club category).
